Course Details
Mizoram University offers a Skill Enhancement Course in Human Resource Management, a 3-month program designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Duration:3 Months
- Eligibility:
1. Current students from Mizoram University and its affiliated colleges, pursuing Semester II, III, or IV.
2.Past students or alumni of Mizoram University and its affiliated colleges, with required documentary proof (Bonafide UG/PG certificate, ID card, or Mizoram Statehood Registration Card).
- Course Fee:INR 3,000
- 50% discount available for Mizoram University students, reducing the fee to INR 1,500.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Understand the evolution, importance, and functions of Human Resource Management (HRM), including human resource planning, job analysis, and evaluation.
- Analyze and apply various recruitment and selection processes, understanding the impact of different recruitment types and the effectiveness of selection methods.
- Develop strategies for talent management, including training methods, succession planning, and performance appraisal systems.
- Assess employee reward systems, understanding their objectives, components, and the impact on employee welfare and safety.
- Comprehend the concept of industrial relations, recognizing causes and consequences of industrial disputes, and approaches to managing these disputes.
